Introducing Mental Lottery and Physical Lottery to the catalogue of Wild Magic. Both are Open Game Content.

Singular Invisibility has been altered so that the personal glamer is at a distance of five feet from the target. Furthermore, breaching this barrier, or moving out of spell range, cancels the spell instantly.
Cone of Invisibility went up in level, and the cone-affected can now cancel the spell for themselves if they break the spell range.
The durations for both spells decreased from 10 minutes/level to 1 minute/level. All of these changes apply to the open game content, too. (As always, the prior content remains open; I merely no longer link to it. Archive.org and the like can be used to obtain older open versions.)

Wild Magic is available (with surges), and open game content, too.
The following are various feats, skills and spells associated with Wild Magic.
- Feats
- Skills
- Spells
- Wild Magic Spells
I'll mention a few more things that are related to Wild Magic mostly by proximity:
Cannibalize Item has a new location, and is OGC. Use Magic Device, imported from the SRD with a tiny wild magic modification, is available and open. Both are available through the newly revamped abilities page.
Radiation and strong radiation have had minor presentation changes.

Protection From Jalakala, Improved has been deleted. The 'ringing bells' effect of that spell has been moved into Protection From Jalakala.
A minor wording change to Quaron's Magic Bubbles: "Cast on a container of soapy water" was changed to "Cast on an open container of soapy water".
Alax's DandeLions was moved from 3rd level to 4th/5th, and was modified with a new XP cost, a few extra physical details to the DandeLions, and a 100-foot 'leash' of sorts. The spell, as previously written, was much too powerful compared to Mage's Faithful Hound.
Chase and Grotto of Krynhoth changed from Transmutation [Teleportation] to Conjuration (Teleportation).
Quaron's Dastardly Dynamics of Doom has an added notation that it may contain the Wild descriptor. (What's the Wild descriptor? See the update on Wild Magic!)
Detect Thoughts now uses the word "cone" instead of "quarter-circle" in the Area description.
Doctor's Doom now has the Evil descriptor, just like contagion.
"Mass Animal Domination" is now Mass Dominate Animal, its range and casting time have changed to match "Dominate Animal", and it dropped to 8th level.
Certain spells have been altered to provide smaller stat blocks, because they rely on other spells for much of their description. Doctor's Doom, Mass Dominate Animal and Mass Monothot Misdirection are affected.
All of the modifications above also apply to the spells' OGC versions.
And finally, the internal sorting/listing mechanism has been altered to handle Mass, Greater and Lesser spells. For instance, Mass Monothot Misdirecton now comes after Monothot Misdirection in a name sort.

Nearly a year after the last post, and I'm back again. I have feats and skills coming soon to join the miserably lonely Cannibalize Item. Most of them are associated with a system for Wild Magic, which will include all-new spells. And almost all of it will be Open Game Content right from the start!

Woodsprites are up, in a rough form. Furthermore, Darkaralome were modified slightly to add a 'weapon familiarity' racial trait, like dwarves and gnomes have in the 3.5 edition. The OGC darkaralome entry has been updated with this change, too.

Weak radiation is now radiation, and the old radiation is now strong radiation. I think this terminology is better, since the weaker version will probably be used more.

I'm going to get the 3.5 books, after all.
Work has started on updating the Woodsprite from... gasp... old, ancient, not-very-balanced AD&D format. The latest Dragon Magazine had a draconian that jump-started my thought process, what with its Glide ability that negates all damage from any fall; Woodsprites should be able to do that.

Restore the Ties That Bind has been deleted.
Destroy the Ties That Bind is now simply The Ties That Bind, and will be focused on for rewriting. However, since school's starting up again, I don't know when I'll finish it.

I haven't forgotten this site. However, I'm not planning on updating to 3.5 any time soon. I may be cursed to remain perpetually behind the times.
Oh well. Updates will continue in their sporadic fashion.

Vyord crystals and two related spells have been modified slightly.
The Vyord, Missilefruit Bow, and Slippers of Recall are now open content, as well as the spells Affect Vyord Crystals and Empower Vyord Crystal.

Scattermind got a rewrite to clean up some confusing language. I may have written it in an entirely new confusing way, though.
Speed Decay has been rewritten, raised from 4th to 5th level, and moved from Transmutation to Necromancy.
The other previously-ok stuff has been prepped for eventual release as open content. I need to write up a general description of disjunction, plus fix up the other spells, before I open it all up.

Monothots are now open content. The Monothotism spell had a small rewrite to match the open content version.

Minor changes were made to the format of most of the open content, but the texts are mostly unchanged. The one exception is the emanating spread, which has been clarified with new text. (The old text was simply "The spell spreads out like a burst, but may turn corners. The spell continues to radiate from the point of origin for the duration of the spell.")

I don't know why I ever thought simple monothots should have feats, much less Dodge and Mobility. The standard monster creation guidelines even insist that creatures like them shouldn't have any.
So, after much deliberation (leading up to the eventual open content-ing of the things), they're gone. Only the amberleish monothots retain their feats, which were ok... though I might want to change them out for something else.

For better or ill, most of the magic spells have gone open content. There will be some link issues, especially pointing to monothots and vyords. But the important part is that it's open!

I used the MW Tools Race Generator to update the monothots slightly. Saving throws, attack bonuses and challenge ratings have been modified.

Affect Vyord Crystals has been updated with Permanency rules.
Empower Vyord Crystal has been edited slightly for clarity.

Magic updates:
Rewritten:
- Absorb
- Doctor's Doom
- Grotto of Krynhoth
- Lord Urik's Howl
- Mass Monothot Misdirection
- Monothotism
- Ownership
- Summon Ruhl
- Teleportational Track
New spells:
- Affect Vyord Crystals
- Cone of Invisibility
- Detect Thoughts
- Empower Vyord Crystal
- Limit Light
- Singular Invisibility
- Torch Ward
- Wall of Invisibility
I'm a bit wary of Torch Ward's low level, but I put it out there, anyway. Detect Thoughts is from the SRD, but uses different terminology.
